Last night was special for the Kentucky basketball program as three Wildcats were taken in the lottery. We take a closer look at each of their fits here: De’Aaron Fox: Drafted fifth overall by the Sacramento Kings De’Aaron Fox is joining a very young Sacramento team that features two former Wildcats in big men Willie Cauley-Stein and Skal Labissiere. Bam Adebayo becomes the final lottery pick in the 2017 NBA draft as the Miami Heat selected him with the No. 14 pick. Adebayo, who was believed to be on the fringe of the first round just a few weeks ago, really impressed teams leading up to the draft with his size, athleticism and jump shot. Malik Monk is headed to Charlotte. The Lepanto, Arkansas native was selected by the Charlotte Hornets with the No. 11 overall pick in the 2017 NBA draft. Monk is joining former Kentucky player Michael Kidd-Gilchrist in Charlotte. Monk was one of the most electric scorers in college basketball this past season. He averaged 19.8 points per game, second among all freshmen. He scored 20 points or more in 18 games and scored a freshman record 47 points against North Carolina... Read more

The Sacramento Kings selected De’Aaron Fox with the No. 5 overall pick in the 2017 NBA draft. Sacramento’s roster now features three former Kentucky players with Fox joining big men Skal Labissiere and Willie Cauley-Stein. Fox averaged 16.7 points, 4.6 assists and 4.0 rebounds per game in his one season at Kentucky. He earned All-SEC First Team honors by the Associated Press and league coaches. Former Kentucky Wildcat Darius Miller is back in Mason County for his annual skills camp with Chris Lofton. Miller is coming off of his third straight German basketball championship with Brose Bamberg.
