The red carpet at Friday night’s Barnstable Brown Gala was crowded with former UK players. The Harrison Twins talked about draft preps and what they’ll miss most about BBN. KSTV’s Mark Krebs and Bradley Mckee also talked with Dakari Johnson, Devin Booker and Julius Randle. Even though Randle is at a different phase in his career, his sentiments about the UK fanbase, Coach Calipari and his time in Kentucky hasn’t changed.  Read more

Amidst Kentucky basketball’s historic run to 38-0, rumors circulated around Wildcat head coach John Calipari leaving Lexington for another run in the NBA. In the end, Cal stayed put, and it’s the Florida Gators who are looking for a new leading man. Billy Donovan accepted the job of a lifetime on Thursday, accepting the head coaching position with the Oklahoma City Thunder. The 7-0 big man — who is expected to be the No. 1 overall selection in the NBA Draft next month — was picked 6th overall in the Dominican Republic during the Liga Nacional de Baloncesto (National Basketball League) draft.
