By securing a commitment from Warren East (Bowling Green, Ky.) linebacker, Eli Brown, UK football head coach Mark Stoops nabbed the highest-rated prospect during his tenure with the Wildcats. Brown is a rated a four-star by recruiting services, and will look to make a major impact for Cats in the future. He said his connection with the UK staff is one of the biggest reasons he decided to pick the in-state school.  Read more

Archie Goodwin’s rookie season with the Phoenix Suns wasn’t everything he envisioned when he initially declared for the NBA draft last year. During the 2013-14 season, the 6-foot-5 guard played only 10 minutes a game and averaged just 3.7 points. But through it all, Goodwin says he doesn’t regret his decision to turn pro. He reflected on the NBA season that was and discussed his time at UK in a conversation with KSTV.  Read more

Despite falling one game short of his national championship goal, Julius Randle described his one year at UK as a success. The freshman forward averaged a double-double for the Cats, and racked up a UK freshman record 24 during the 2014 season. He said his growth in Lexington expanded beyond the basketball court though, crediting head coach John Calipari and the staff for developing him as a man as well.  Read more

Former UK guard Archie Goodwin just completed his first season with the Phoenix Suns and joins us tonight on KSTV. In this clip, he discusses his famous quote after the Robert Morris loss that ended UK’s dismal 2012-13 season. Archie said, “If any of us were saying we think we should leave, then we’d all be delusional.” He explained how he went from that statement to entering the NBA Draft shortly after.  Read more
