LEXINGTON — Football isn’t the only team rolling recruiting Yahtzee in Lexington. Rumors surfaced late Friday night that Kentucky basketball commit Jamal Murray was visiting campus with a surprise guest. The top pick in June’s NBA Draft, Karl-Anthony Towns, was one of several former Cats back in town this week to participate in the Kroger ProCamp series at stops in Louisville, Cincinnati and Lexington. In the final stop of what he calls “the talking season”, UK football coach Mark Stoops joined over 700 fans in Louisville on Friday for the annual UK Football Kickoff Luncheon. In an event hosted by “The Voice of the Wildcats”, Tom Leach, Stoops and his assistants looked ahead to the season and discussed the goals they’ve laid out for their team.  Read more

LEXINGTON — The dice continue to be hot for the Kentucky Football team after landing a commitment from five-star wide receiver Jermaine Eskridge on Thursday afternoon: The 6-foot-3 athlete from Tampa, Florida, is Kentucky’s first verbal for 2018 and the sixth overall player to commit to the Wildcats in just the last four days. Kentucky Football to host New Mexico State, Doug Martin in 2016

LEXINGTON — The Kentucky Football team has finalized its 2016 football schedule by inking a deal with a former Wildcat. UK Athletics confirmed on Tuesday afternoon that Kentucky will host New Mexico State in 2016, currently scheduled for September 17th. It will be the first meeting between the two schools in the football program’s history.
